5DFly Photo Design – Photo Editing Software
Review by on
You do not have to be a photo design expert to come up with stunning photo artworks. What you need to do is turn to software for help. And the software that can prove to be quite useful in this situation is the user friendly and powerful editing tool 5DFly Photo Design. In very little time and without too much effort, you can come up with something that looks amazing. You could create a beautiful calendar for the office, a nice collage for your mom, or an appealing greeting card for a friend.

The 5DFly Photo Design installation file weighs in at 25.3MB. Run the file once the download completes and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will take you through the installation process. The application can be installed on a PC powered by anything from Windows 2000 up to Windows 7, a PC that meets these recommended system requirements: 1GB of RAM or more, 200MB free disk space for installation and 10GB or more for temp files, a graphics card capable of 1024x768 resolution. These system requirements are easily met by most modern PCs.

Once the installation completes, you are asked to launch the application. Before you can get to the interface, you are invited to check out a video tutorial. You are very well advised to do so. The video will show you the basics of using 5DFly Photo Design so that you can easily get started with the application.

If you watch the video, you definitely won’t have any problems with the interface. Even if you do not watch it, the simple fact of the matter is that UI is user friendly and it will take very little time to get accustomed to it.

The nice thing about 5DFly Photo Design is that it comes with a large selection of templates. You could start from scratch and create a beautiful photo artwork with your skill and with the tools 5DFly Photo Design provides. Or better yet, you could pick one of the many templates the application has to offer, templates that, by the way, are nicely grouped into categories (Calendar, Father’s Day, Oriental Art, and other categories).

To start using a template, you must download it first; this could take a while, depending on the speed of your internet connection and on how many images are included in the template. When the download completes, you will be asked to pick the images you would like to be used with the template. Via the AutoFit function, the application will then blend the images you selected with the template and will present you with the results. If you’re happy with how things look, you can save the images as JPEG, PDF, or PowerPoint files; you can also generate a video with the images. If you want to adjust things, you can edit the images or you can start over. Again, the tutorial video is very useful in presenting this functionality to you, so make sure to check it out.

5DFly Photo Design is only free to try. This means that the trial version will put a watermark on the output. Purchase a license to get rid of the watermark.

Ease of use, numerous templates, editing functions, and multiple output options, 5DFly Photo Design puts all these at your disposal so you can create beautiful artworks.

Pros
The system requirements aren’t restrictive at all; the application will work on any modern PC. You are invited to check out a tutorial video; this video presents the application’s functionality so that you can easily get started. There are many templates to choose from. AutoFit automatically blends the template with your images. You can edit the images, preview your work, and save it as JPEG, PDF, PowerPoint, or video.

Cons
The trial puts a watermark on the output.
